When I count down from three...); overuse of textual word stretching (i.e.,
deeeeeeeeeeeeper); etc.
Origin: this term came about when MCForum members Bankington and bobwhite were in a busy chatroom, discussing story formats they found generally annoying. The subject of hypnosis stories came up at the same time as hack writers were being discussed, and Bankington accidentally typed "kack stories" instead of "hack stories."
